Moving home is quite high in the list of “most stressful events” in our lives. Even if you are moving from a shack to a mansion, this is still stressful. It may be quite a happy occasion, but it is still a disruption of your normal routine.

Everyone hates moving. Packing up all of your belongings and then unpacking them is just a hassle. Very few of us are fortunate enough to be able to have someone do all of this work for us so it tends to be stressful, even if we do not have to lift a finger ourselves.

We at Happy Man and Van Ltd. do try and minimize the stress suffered, by laying out for you a simple plan of action events that you can follow. Remember good planning of your move will mean less stress, and you might even enjoy it!

Here are some useful tips for planning ahead...

Ideally give yourself plenty of time before the move, of course in today’s world that is not always possible, with some of us needing to move due to a family break-up or financial reasons dictate an immediate move...

The most important consideration in any situation is to pack everything into boxes, carefully labelling all your boxes with the room name. This will save you months of hunting for missing things after you move, and we at Happy Man and Van are only too pleased to place the boxes into the labelled room for you.

On moving day if your “man and van”, or removal company is faced with a house full of things, not packed, it is going to take a great deal more time to move, and this will cost you a great deal more money!

You can buy boxes and packing materials online at www.wannapack.co.uk

And at really low prices and with next day delivery included.

If you need everything today, go visit your local Self Storage Company, or call us at Happy Man and Van and we will try to help...
